Kartell partners with Google and Domus Academy for the Talking Crafts project. Students from the international design academy, with the guidance of architect and scientific director Fabio Novembre and during a creative 48-hour ‘marathon’, imagined how Google devices could integrate with the most common household items, increasing functionality to the point of giving them a voice. The winning projects were prototyped by four eminent Made in Italy design brands, specifically Kartell, Driade, Bitossi and FontanaArte. Bubbella is the lamp created for Kartell, the beautiful ball housing Google Home Mini so that it is ready to pause the TV, lower the lights before going to sleep or play relaxing wave sounds.
