Kartell, with the Eleganza chair designed by Philippe Starck, was awarded the prestigious Red Dot "Best of the Best" award as part of the annual international competition divided into categories which since 1955 has awarded the most deserving design projects. The competition, based in Essen, Germany, is an internationally consolidated reality thanks to a qualified team of experts who evaluate the quality of the projects.

Distinctive features: refinement and discretion, softness and fluidity. This upholstered armchair comes in two versions, ELEGANZA NIA and ELEGANZA ELA. Both are sinuous and lightweight forms on which fabric – either mélange or faux leather – plays the lead role, softly covering the lines of the chair.
