PLAY MEETS DESIGN: MATTEL CREATIONS AND KARTELL UNVEIL UNO x KARTELL. A SPECIAL EDITION OF ART, GAMEPLAY, AND ICONIC STYLE



Kartell and Mattel are renewing the partnership begun in 2009 with the “Barbie goes design with Kartell” project. The latest collaboration brings together two of the brands’best known products: Anna Castelli Ferrieri’s Componibili and “UNO” playing cards, one of the most popular games for the festive season.

The result of this union is Componibili x UNO , a version inspired by UNO playing cards and featuring their most recognisable colours and characteristics. This limited edition will be produced in a four-element version with white bodies and with the characteristics hole-grip doors in powder variants of the card colours: pink, yellow, green and blue.

The other side of this cross-over project takes the form of a special deck of “UNO” cards, made to complement the new Componibili model and featuring Kartell’s most popular products, including the Louis Ghost chair, Battery lamp, Mobil drawers and Bookworm bookcase in place of the conventional numbers. Special Jokers feature the Attila gnome and the limited edition Componibili, making this deck of cards a must-have for collectors.

On November 15th the Kartell Lovers sit at the gaming table in the exclusive location of the Cracco Bistrot in Milan. Many friends and exclusive guests ready to challenge each other and shout all together: ONE!
