Kartell shines a light on art as protagonist in a major renovation project of great artistic and cultural value, thanks to which the Teatro Eslava in Madrid, the temple of Flamenco, has returned to splendour with new interior spaces designed by Philippe Starck. Starck’s own Goodnight lamps illuminate the renovated theatre and clearly express the ability of Kartell design to dialogue with an infinite range of environments and furnishing solutions thanks to unique versatility and unmistakable style. The Goodnight design revisits the candle in its primordial form and transforms it into a highly technological object. Modern candles also caress the red walls with their warm, gentle glow, and make an essential contribution to creating exactly the right emotional atmosphere. Teatro Eslava, an icon of liberty and rebellion at the very heart of Madrid’s cultural life, has been given a second life with this modern, essential renovation project, and has returned to the origins of Flamenco in all its powerful, primordial passion.
