Mostra Fantasmagoria Callas

During Design Week 2024, Kartell furnishes the terrace of Teatro alla Scala with the outdoor collection Hiray. Overlooking the inner courtyard of Teatro alla Scala, in front of Mario Botta's special architecture with a view of the elliptical plan, an unexpected terrace opens up, a place that completes, outside, the path of the Theater Museum and that is now open to visitors, furnished thanks to the collaboration between the Theater Museum, Kartell, and Orticolario, with the intervention of the landscape architect Vittorio Peretto. The setup is part of a project that began in autumn and celebrates the myth of Maria Callas. Indeed, from November 17th to April 30th, Kartell takes part in the exhibition ""Fantasmagoria Callas,"" curated by Francesco Stocchi with the set design by Margherita Palli. The Louis Ghost chair becomes a tribute to the iconic soprano and is included in the exhibition at the Teatro alla Scala Museum. On the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of her birth, Teatro alla Scala pays homage to Maria Callas with an exhibition conceived to celebrate her myth, evoking the indelible imprint she has left on the collective imagination. The legacy of the soprano, who managed to combine singing and acting in a unique blend that has made her an iconic figure throughout history, is the protagonist of an exhibition that portrays a complete artist deeply connected to the history of Teatro alla Scala.
