Space Australia and Singapore dedicates all its windows to Kartell
Kartell’s showcases in SPACE's Melbourne, Sydney and Hong Kong multibrand stores are dedicated to a wide range of products made from sustainable materials. On display is a broad cross-section of special projects embodying the company’s research and development in production processes and materials. The A.I. Chair by Philippe Starck, the first Kartell product made from recycled raw material, appears alongside other Kartell icons also derived from recycled materials, like Antonio Citterio’s Mobil drawers, now in new matte colours, and Anna Castelli Ferrieri’s Componibili, now in a new Bio version. Kartell is also actively introducing biopolymers obtained from vegetable waste. These materials are certified as bio-based by TUV Austria who have awarded them a 4-star rating. The sustainability drive launched by the “Kartell Loves the Planet” manifesto has transformed Kartell into a constantly evolving creative workshop. The company is now ready to tackle technological challenges and give form to new ideas in unique and previously unthinkable industrial designs while paying increasingly rigorous attention to sustainability in response to the real needs of the circular economy.
