The Kartell Museum participated in the "Plastic Heritage Congress" which involved over a hundred international experts and researchers. The event was organized by the PHEA association and the Plart Foundation and was held at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples. The PHEA - Plastics Heritage European Association, of which the Kartell Museum is among the Founders, unites representatives from 10 countries of the leading institutions, museums, and research institutes engaged in the enhancement and conservation of historical objects created with polymeric materials. On this occasion, the "Kartell Museum Poster Award" was conferred to the best research in the fields of heritage science and cultural heritage for the preservation of polymers.The first prize was awarded to Eva Mariasole Angelin, researcher at the Conservation Science Department of the Deutsches Museum of Berlin.
